The CLIENT-protection SSL proxy intercepts the server certificate. The SERVER-protection SSL proxy forwards the server certificate without modifying it.

The server-protection SSL proxy acts as the client from the servers perspective. This is why D is wrong, the server and client are the wrong way around in the answer.

Sorry I have this wrong, it is correct: SRX acts as client form server perspective and vice versa, I misinterpreted the answer. BD is right.
