Answer should b D as as-override allow the routes received from same as number from remote PE to forward to same as-number CE

Please note that "family inet-vpn" must be configured in the iBGP communication between PEs (not shown in the exhibit). As per the provided output, what we see here is the external communication with the CEs, for the external communication with the CEs we do not need family inet-vpn to be configured under EBGP, the correct answer must be D as-override.

family inet-vpn is the correct answer. As the question states that the routes received are not advertised out. If it says the routes are not accepted by PE, then it should be as-override.

Sry. The question is R1 and R2 not re-advertise routes received from other PE, then it should be as-override..

The correct answer is D. As-overrride is required for advertise prefixes with same AS of the peer.

as-override allows the route to be forwarded since they have the same AS number that is likely to be discarded to avoid loops

family inet-vpn is required in core bgp stanza, to avoid the as-loop on the CE as-override is a possible solution
