There is a functioning OSPFv3 neighborship between Router-1 and Router-2 over the ge-0/0/1 link. However, the 172.100.100.0/24 and 172.101.101.100/24 routes are not being shared through OSPFv3.
Referring to the configuration shown in the exhibit, which two actions must you take to solve the problem? (Choose two.)

  • A. Add interface ge-0/0/1 under the IPv4 unicast realm for both routers.
  • B. Add the IPv6 family protocol under ge-0/0/2 for both routers.
  • C. Add the lo0 interface under OSPFv3 for both routers.
  • D. Add interface ge-0/0/2 under OSPFv3 for both routers.

not sure why inet6 must be added for ipv4 routes to work but here is config guide: https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/junos/topics/topic-map/configuring-ospf-interfaces.html#id-example-configuring-ospfv2-peer-interfaces To quickly configure multiple address families for OSPFv3, copy the following commands, paste them into a text file, remove any line breaks, change any details necessary to match your network configuration, copy and paste the commands into the CLI at the [edit] hierarchy level, and then enter commit from configuration mode. content_copy zoom_out_map [edit] set interfaces fe-0/1/0 unit 0 family inet address 192.0.2.2/24 set interfaces fe-0/1/0 unit 0 family inet6 set protocols ospf3 area 0.0.0.0 interface fe-0/1/0 set protocols ospf3 realm ipv4-unicast area 0.0.0.0 interface fe-0/1/0

From my old JNCIS notes: "Each interface that is being included in a realm must have inet6 enabled because ospfv3 uses the link local IP to source hello packets."

Configure OSPFv3 to advertise address families other than unicast IPv6. Junos OS maps each address family you configure to a separate realm with its own set of neighbors and link-state database. https://www.juniper.net/documentation/us/en/software/junos/ospf/topics/ref/statement/realm-edit-protocols-ospf3.html
