Correct answer is D Adding interface-type p2p to a link tells OSPF not to perform a DR/BDR election on that link. This step can save up to forty seconds of wait time for the adjacency to form. Another benefit of the interface-type p2p option is that no Type 2 LSA is generated describing the multi-access segment, helping to reduce the size of the OSPF LSDB.

Yes D is the correct answer because in a p2p link, the OSPF does not need to perform DR/BDR election.
