Mist claim codes and activation codes are: A. An activation code is printed on a sticker on the AP. This is generally true for Mist APs. The activation code (or claim code) is a unique identifier that allows you to associate the physical device with your Mist organization. D. Claim codes may be used to claim only one AP. Each individual Mist AP has a unique claim code. This code is used to claim that specific device into your Mist inventory. Once an AP is claimed using its code, that code cannot be used to claim another AP.
