B is NOT correct. Referring to the JNCIS-ENT Routing Study Guide, Load Balancing and Filter-Based Forwarding • Chapter 2–3 and 2-4, "Notice that only the selected next hop is installed in the forwarding table for the referenced destination prefixes...You can alter the default load-balancing behavior using routing policy. Once a load-balancing policy is properly defined and applied, you see all equal-cost paths installed in the forwarding table as shown in the graphic."

Selected Answer: BC
The correct statements about the default load-balancing behavior for the Junos OS are: B. By default, the Junos OS installs multiple equal-cost next hops in the forwarding table for a destination prefix. This is correct. Junos OS installs multiple equal-cost next hops in the forwarding table for a destination prefix, which enables load balancing. C. By default, the Junos OS selects one of the equal-cost next hops for received destination prefixes. This is correct. By default, the Junos OS uses flow-based load balancing, selecting one of the equal-cost next hops for received destination prefixes. It does not perform per-packet load balancing. So, the correct options are B and C.
