Bidirectional Forwarding Detection (BFD) is a network protocol used for fast failure detection on paths between two routers or switches. It is commonly used with routing protocols to enhance their ability to detect failures quickly.
The three protocols that support BFD are:
B. BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) C. OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) D. LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol)
RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol) and FTP (File Transfer Protocol) do not support BFD.
i do understand this question is not only about routing protocols, but this years I knew that BFD is only for routing protocols such as BGP OSPF and RIP.... So why should I pick LACP as this is aggregation protocol ....
