All organizational policies should include clear guidelines for maintenance, review, and enforcement to ensure they remain relevant, effective, and properly implemented. However, policy adjudication is not a standard policy component.
🔹 Key Components of a Policy:
B. Policy Maintenance → Defines who is responsible for updating the policy and ensuring it stays current.
C. Policy Review → Establishes a schedule and process for reviewing the policy for effectiveness and compliance.
D. Policy Enforcement → Details how the policy will be applied, monitored, and consequences for non-compliance.
🔹 Why Not "Policy Adjudication"?
Adjudication refers to resolving disputes or making judgments on policy violations.
While enforcement mechanisms exist, adjudication is not a required section of every policy.
Adjudication is more relevant in legal or compliance enforcement contexts, rather than general policy structure.
