An Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is a type of detective control. Detective controls are designed to detect and alert on security incidents, anomalies, or violations that have already occurred.
A voting comment increases the vote count for the chosen answer by one.
Upvoting a comment with a selected answer will also increase the vote count towards that answer by one.
