B. Top Level CA In a hierarchical Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), the highest-level Certificate Authority (CA) is typically referred to as the "Root CA." However, it can also be called the "Top-Level CA" because it occupies the highest position in the PKI hierarchy, and all other CAs and certificates in the system ultimately trace their trust back to the Root CA.
