Just want to reassure everyone here that it is indeed C. You cannot properly use a Data Loss Prevention tool without classifying the data. This is coming from a guy that has ever comptia cert except server+ and linux+.
Data classification is the process of identifying and labeling data based on its level of sensitivity and criticality to the organization. A proper data classification allows the organization to understand the level of risk associated with different types of data and implement appropriate security controls to protect it. This is an essential step in the DLP solution, as it enables the organization to identify and protect the sensitive data, and prevent data leakage.
