In this scenario, the project manager is not increasing the probability or impact of the opportunity itself. Instead, the project manager is taking actions to accelerate the project schedule and reduce the project duration, which is an example of exploiting the opportunity. While enhancing could potentially be used in other situations to increase the likelihood of completing a project early, in this specific scenario, crashing is a more appropriate example of exploiting. agree the answer should be C. Ensuring it will happen is exploiting, not increasing the chances (enhancing).

The plausible correct is answer C. Exploiting is about doing everything to ensure that the event happens. In this risk response strategy, you make sure you realize the opportunity. Simply put, with the exploit risk response strategy, you increase the chance of the event happening to 100%. https://pmstudycircle.com/enhance-risk-response-vs-exploit-risk-response-strategies/

The question states, "you elect to crash the project in order to realize the early end date". The likelihood wasn't increased, the positive response was realized as a direct result of your action which is the definition of exploiting risk. Please update.
