Let me expand a little. In reading the question it specifically states UAT. Therefore, if proper UAT did not take place then it will not meet the system functions. We are concerned with the functionality because of poor UAT. Not security.

Unforeseen defects might still exist, but untested functionalities related to business requirements are a bigger risk. The core purpose of UAT is to validate if the system fulfills the needs of the users and aligns with the business goals. Untested key scenarios raise the biggest concern that the system might not be meeting those expectations.
