Title VII of the Civil Rights Act protects job seekers from discrimination based on… Race, Color, Religion, National origin, Religion, or Sex. And Look at this ( options, should be changed ) The act, as subsequently amended, further prohibits discrimination based on pregnancy or childbirth status. The Civil Rights Act was also later aligned with the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), which protects anyone over 40 from discrimination based on age.
