Selected Answer: ABE
The VSP E790/E590 is a 2U single-chassis storage system with an internal drive enclosure for up to 24 NVMe SSDs. The maximum supported capacity for a single NVMe SSD is 30TB, so up to 720TB can be installed in the system. Depending on the RAID level and the number of spares configured, the usable capacity may be less. The SAS Expansion feature provides the customer with flexibility in terms of capacity and tiering. Based on two SAS Disk Boards (DKBs) mounted in Slot B of both controllers, certain numbers of external SAS Drive Boxes can be added. Drive Boxes are offered for 3.5“ NL-SAS drives and for 2.5” SAS HDDs and SSDs.
