An employee receives an email from their internet service provider asking for their bank account number and password. Which cybersecurity threat is this?
Its Phishing , as Phishing involves fraudulent attempts to obtain sensitive information, such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details, by disguising as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication
Pishing is when someone pretends to be original. In this case Internet service Provider is not pretending. He is asking for details in straight forward way. So I go with Spamming
Phishing is a type of social engineering where an attacker sends a fraudulent message designed to trick a person into revealing sensitive information to the attacker or to deploy malicious software on the victim's infrastructure like ransomware.
