i have read somewhere that Bigquery is not recommended for day to day data analysis. So the alternative option available is Cloud SQL

Cloud SQL is *not* recommended for analytical workloads. Imagine having a high volume of transactions on your database, and then you want to run a large analytical query that has to read through TBs of data. Sike!
