A. Google Cloud Armor
Google Cloud Armor provides protection against DDoS attacks and helps safeguard applications and websites hosted on Google Cloud. It offers:
- Layer 3 and Layer 7 DDoS mitigation.
- Custom security policies for access control.
- Integration with external HTTP(S) load balancers for traffic filtering.
Why not the other options?
B. Cloud Build:
This is a CI/CD tool for building, testing, and deploying applications. It is unrelated to security or DDoS protection.
C. Cloud VPN:
This enables secure connectivity between on-premises networks and Google Cloud over the public internet. It does not provide DDoS protection.
D. Security Command Center:
This is a centralized security and risk management tool for monitoring and managing vulnerabilities, but it does not directly protect against DDoS attacks.
