7.2 Study Guide page 156.
Meta fields are useful when an enterprise has global offices or branches and the FortiManager administrator must create multiple objects with the same logical name, but different values.
Answer is C, as per Central Management chapter, meta fields are useful when an enterprise has global offices or branches and the FortiManager administrator must create multiple objects with the same logical name.
A - No - you CAN set them to be required, but it is not a "must". Page 154 "You can make meta fields required or optional"
B - No - Page 155 shows System level meta fields
C - Yes - Page 156 "Meta fields are useful when an enterprise has global offices or branches and the FortiManager administrator must creation multiple objects with the same logical name, but different values."
D - Yes - Page 155 "In FortiManager, ADOM-level metadata variables are also available for general use in scripts, templates, and model devices".
I suspect this question is intended to be a "pick two".
I disagree about D, the question is about Meta fields and not Meta data variables. Yes Meta data variables can be used in scripts, templates etc. but the question specifically refers to Meta fields.
