SG p 197: "Manual: . . . metrics are not considered (packet-loss, latency, . . .)
SG p 199: "Best Quality: . . . SLA targets are not considered"
Therefore only Low Cost (SLA) and Maximize Bandwidth (SLA) strategies use SLA targets.
Perhaps that why they are the only strategies with "(SLA)" in the name . . .
C is absolutely wrong although it sounds correct . Read carefully what it says. It says C. When configuring an SD-WAN rule, you can select multiple SLA targets of the same performance SLA.
That is not true a performance SLA indeed can have multiple SLA targets but in the rule section you can not specify multiple SLA Targets as what you specify is the Performance SLA object which included many SLA targets. Also indeed you can specify many Performance SLAs as SLA targets but not individual sla targets from a single performance SLA. So they play games with the words....
A. SD-WAN rules use SLA targets to check if the preferred members meet the SLA requirements.
SD-WAN rules are designed to ensure that the traffic is routed through the best possible link based on the defined SLA targets. These targets define the acceptable levels of performance, such as latency, jitter, and packet loss. If the preferred member does not meet the SLA requirements, the SD-WAN rule can select an alternative member that meets the criteria.
C. When configuring an SD-WAN rule, you can select multiple SLA targets of the same performance SLA.
In FortiGate, you can configure multiple SLA targets within an SD-WAN rule. This allows the rule to evaluate multiple performance criteria to determine the best link for traffic routing. For example, you can set multiple targets for latency, jitter, and packet loss, and the rule will use these targets to select the optimal path.
A & D are correct. Study guide pages 217 through 225 explain this.
