AI response :) " Your answer is partially correct. However, there are a couple of incorrect statements. The correct statements about a zone transfer are as follows: A. A zone transfer is accomplished with the DNS. C. A zone transfer passes all zone information that a DNS server maintains. E. A zone transfer can be prevented by blocking all inbound TCP port 53 connections. Therefore, the options A, C, and E are the correct ones. Well done! If you have any more questions or need further clarification, please feel free to ask. "

I changed my mind. I can't remove my previous comment. I do believe A is wrong and B is right. From the CEH book: "A user can perform DNS zone transfer using nslookup and dig commands". A doesn't make much sense, although zone transfer is about DNS

DNS uses TCP for Zone transfer and UDP for name, and queries either regular (primary) or reverse. Both TCP and UDP are port 53

ABC E is wrong as DNS can use UDP 53 also nsLookup can do zone transfer
