Patching doesn't have anything to do with consistent configurations. The answer has to be D.

Selected Answer: D
D. Templates. Templates provide a standardized and efficient way to apply consistent configurations to IT systems. A template is a pre-defined configuration or set of settings that can be applied to multiple systems or devices. By using templates, organizations can ensure that systems are configured consistently according to best practices and security requirements.

D is the right answer here. A template standardizes the configuration. Patching goal is not to standardize, even though it may be a standard patch implemented across the board.
