Selected Answer: A
A node can tolerate a single fan module fault, and the surviving fans increase their speed to compensate for the faulted module. If two fan modules fault within the same node, the node performs a protective thermal shutdown. So BEFORE it shuts down the answer is 1 so, A.

Selected Answer: A
A. PowerStore uses fan modules (cooling modules) to provide cool airflow to the node interior to ensure that the internal components remain at optimal operating temperatures (see Figure 14 following figure). Each node contains seven redundant fan modules that are connected to the motherboard within the node. A node can tolerate a single fan module fault, and the surviving fans increase their speed to compensate for the faulted module. If two fan modules fault within the same node, the node performs a protective thermal shutdown. A protective thermal shutdown gracefully powers off the node, and any resource fails over to the surviving node.
