Should be D, Add Drive to a Base or Expansion Enclosure The procedures to add a drive to the base enclosure or an expansion enclosure is identical. The only difference is the base enclosure supports NVMe drives and the expansion enclosure does not. Drives are hot pluggable. There is no need to shut down the appliance to add a new drive. Procedure Overview 1. Use SoLVe Online or Desktop tool to find the latest information and get procedure. 2. Use PowerStore Manager or PSTCLI to check system status and capacity before adding drive. 3. Use PowerStore Manager or PSTCLI to back up the D@RE Keystore before adding a drive. 4. Follow procedure in SoLVe or the Installation and Service Guide to add a drive. (Refer to replacement video if required). 5. Use PowerStore Manager or PSTCLI to check status of new drive and system capacity. 6. Use PowerStore Manager or PSTCLI to back up the D@RE Keystore after adding a drive
