I think A is the correct answer because in course material there is: "Snapshots of Volumes, Volume Groups, and Thin Clones are read only, and cannot be refreshed"

A is correct. Volumes can be refreshed from Thin Clones, Thin Clons SnapShots Thin Clones can be refreshed from Parent Volume, Volume Snapshots and Thin Clone Snapshots.
