The reason there is such a large range in the number of IOPS delivered by SSDs is the IOPS are truly dependent on the type of traffic the SC Series was designed to handle. When designing with SSDs, the IOPS capability of a single drive is very high, but the bandwidth of the drive needs to be considered to ensure that there is enough to meet the needs of the design
