  • C. If the soft limit remains exceeded and the grace period expires, no new data may be added to the particular file system or directory.

should be C, Explaination: The soft limit is a capacity threshold. When file usage exceeds the threshold, a countdown timer begins. The timer, or grace period, continues to count down as long as the soft limit is exceeded. However, data can still be written to the file system. If the soft limit remains exceeded and the grace period expires, no new data may be added to the particular directory.
