Asynchronous replication supports a configurable Recovery Point Objective (RPO)
Recovery Point Objective (RPO) is the acceptable amount of data, which is measured in units of time, which may be lost due to a failure.
.
The RPO time, or data delta, affects the amount of data that is replicated during the next synchronization.
RPO also represents the amount of potential data loss if a disaster scenario were to occur.
The minimum and maximum values are 5 minutes and 1440 minutes (24 hours).
