General requirements for all systems doing block storage migration:
Administrator privileges on the source and its associated hosts to import to a PowerStore cluster.
Compatible front-end connectivity of each host from the source system and PowerStore.
When FC connectivity is used, set up FC zoning between the host and the destination PowerStore cluster.
For PS Series (EqualLogic), the front-end connectivity must be iSCSI.
For PowerMax/VMAX, the front-end connectivity must be FC.
A back-end iSCSI or FC connection exists between the source system and PowerStore cluster.
If using iSCSI, the network used for import must be tagged for replication. Only one storage network can be tagged at any given time.
There must be one instance of MPIO running on the host.
PowerStore requirements:
If using iSCSI, the global storage IP address for PowerStore must be configured.
PowerStore and its nodes must be in a healthy state.
