Roughly Steps would be A) bring the apps and luns offline (unmount) B) (as best practice remove old lun from the server ) C)create hot pull session D) once session created and activated , no need to wait the data copy to 100%( background copy will continue) E) you can present new storage luns to app server and start using the luns [if -donar_update is used. the data block updated on VMAX LUN will be updated on Hitachi Lun also, If -donar_update not used Hitachi lun will not be updated (retain its original )] F) once 100% copied you can break and terminate session https://navanuthana.wordpress.com/2020/03/10/one-page-emc-open-replicator-how-to/
