E. ldconfig
The ldconfig command is used to update the linker cache, which is a database of information about shared libraries that the system uses to link programs with the libraries they depend on. The linker cache is stored in the /etc/ld.so.cache file.
When new libraries are installed on the system, or when libraries are updated or removed, the linker cache may become outdated. The ldconfig command is used to update the linker cache with information about the new, updated, or removed libraries, so that the system can find and link with the correct version of the library.
