A user sends a print job to a network printer, and the print job uses double the amount of paper as expected. Which of the following should the user configure to get the expected result?
The question is " double the amount of paper" , that means using more number of papers ,how come Duplex - means less number of paper used by printing both of papers , right ?
so option " C " is the most suitable answer .
A is the answer
The user should configure the print job to use the Duplex option, which will print on both sides of the paper and reduce the amount of paper used.
f a print job is using double the amount of paper as expected, the duplex setting likely needs to be enabled. Duplex printing allows printing on both sides of the paper, reducing the total amount of paper used for a print job. If duplex is not enabled, the printer will print on only one side, effectively doubling the paper usage.
Duplex is the only correct answer here.
Duplex means printing on both sides so this would result in HALF the amount of paper used.
Lets say we printed out 10 sheets, Duplex would get it to only 5 Sheets of paper used
In this question. It is explaining that "the print job will use double the amount of paper as expected," it wants us to fit one of the options that will help reduce paper wastage. In this case Duplex is the best answer because your putting the big print job on both sides of the paper which helps save paper.
it's saying , print job uses double the amount of paper as expected. for example , he expected 5 pages will print but he saw 10 pages were printed which were double. so in order to print into 5 pages instead of 10, he has to configure duplex setting. so Answer is A. 100%
Collate printing means when printing more than one copy of a multi-page document, pages are printed in the correct order from the first page to the last page, before the next copy is printed.
Yeah, this is a trick question, it could be either A or B. I am leaning towards A, because the question says "double the amount of paper as EXCPECTED", which makes me think it isn't collate. Because for the printer to printer double the amount, it would be expected. If printing double the amount as expected, it's probably printing one-sided, when it should be printing double-sided. So A.
The key word here is ''double the amount of paper as expected'' So, when you print a landscape format on a portrait the number of pages printed will be at least double, as the printer will print the edge that didn't fit onto the portrait on another page. The user was expecting to print less pages, then he needs to change the orientation to landscape in order to achieve the ''expected'' no of pages.
I think the meaning of "landscape" here means page orientation. If you change it, you will print the same amount of pages BUT maybe the information in the pages won't show as expected
With "duplex" meaning 2 sided-printing you will be printing half of the copies, because they'll be on both sides of the paper, so it won't use the "double amount of paper" the question is stating
