Remember to be familiar with common industry lingo such as RJ45 and understand it so that you are more effective on the exam and able to talk like a professional. Nothing is more annoying than two techs talking about the same thing but misunderstanding each other because they are using different terms and set up for confusion.
STP (shielded twisted pair) or UTP (unshielded twisted pair) there are 2 standards 568a and 568b depending which devices you connect you use different cables
some will call it by Cat5, Cat6 etc. depending on the cable itself
They are most famously used for the Ethernet communication protocol and that is what most people will call it - Ethernet cable
