VR helmets don’t care about light source at all. Hence, are better than anything else here.

But they're not designed with this in mind, it's just due to the nature of the device. The question says 'designed'.

That really depends on the VR headset design. Cheaper headsets for example, tend to not have very good insulation and lots of light can leak in.

Doesn't VR work just as well in any lighting whether dark or bright? I don't think it matters what the outside lighting looks like with VR. So I believe E-reader is more correct.

Depends on the device. Some use external trackers/sensors that require proper lighting.

My first answer was E-reader, but if VR is the correct, does that mean VR does not work as well in dark environments?

I said E reader but I can understand that the best is VR as no light can ideally effect it. Next would be e reader for sure.

Well, we can all agree the answer is E-Reader. It would be nice if they update the answer.

Always remember to choose the best option from those provided. That's KEY to getting these right, which is something Professor Messer always stresses. He's right. VR headset is designed to block out light, entirely. E-reader is supposed to be usable in light, but that doesn't supply the best answer to the question from the options available. That said, I chose e-reader, because I wanted it to be that. I ignored the correct choice, because I had a predisposition to the e-reader based on my studies.

Correct answer is E - Reader, Amazon kindle is a best example where VR is for entertainment purpose only and not related to a harsh lighting.

I search the term "harsh lighting" and this is what I got: Harsh lighting is very bright, directional light, typically found during mid-day E-reader serves that exact purpose. To make it easier to read in direct sunlight.

If the answer isn't E-Reader, then CompTIA is a joke.
