While a hot site has equipment and customer data included, a warm site has no customer data preinstalled. If an organization wants to reduce costs but not have to start from scratch with an off-site data center, a warm site is a compromise between the two extremes.Nov 26, 2018 Reference: https://www.techtarget.com/searchdisasterrecovery/answer/Whats-the-difference-between-a-hot-site-and-cold-site-for-disaster-recovery#:~:text=While%20a%20hot%20site%20has,compromise%20between%20the%20two%20extremes.

Agree. Cost focused, would mean a Warm site may be the best option and depending on what is being moved, and RTO of 12 hours should be enough time for a Warm site.

Selected Answer: C
C. The question wants us to consider both the cost and RTO, A is putting all your eggs in one basket, B is too expensive but will satisfy RTO requirement, D satisfies the cost and but will not meet the RTO requirement. C sits in the middle and would most likely satisfy both requirements.

A hot site is always ready to take over the primary site's workload, so wouldn't it be more cost-effective in the long run? Additionally, a hot site would provide faster recovery times and better protection against data loss compared to a warm site.
