Since they denied WRITE and MODIFY, consequently the group won't have full control (which would include both: write and modify) or special permissions ( they didn't have it before). The only remaining task they can do without any modification are read or execute.

Any idea if this is D&B is true? Why all of a sudden admins loose "full control"?
