I think Time Difference would be a Factor affecting team members from different geographies, so A sounds more Correct..

The answer is A. The question is not asking what challenges will be faced since the decision is made, it is asking what WERE the challenges that influenced this decision in the first place.

Because it says "MOST likely to be the main challenge the influences this decision?" There is a typo but it should say main challenge that influences this decision ...geography influenced the decision.
