Selected Answer: D
It's not A since the phone charges, if the charging port was defective the phone could not charge. It's the battery.

Selected Answer: D
A defective battery is the most likely cause of the symptoms described for a user's mobile phone getting really hot to the touch, not retaining a charge, and being very slow, especially while charging. A defective battery may not hold a charge properly, leading to the phone running out of power quickly and the need for frequent charging. The defective battery may also cause the phone to overheat, especially while charging, as the battery attempts to charge but fails to hold a charge, resulting in the battery continuing to draw power and generating heat. A broken charging port or digitizer failure would not cause the phone to get hot or affect the battery's ability to hold a charge. CPU overheating may cause the phone to get hot but is less likely to affect the battery's ability to hold a charge.

I am thinking of C or D, would battery problem make the phone run slow? but also would CPU overheat to hard to use?

A faulty battery may not provide a consistent and stable power supply to the phone. Inadequate power delivery can affect the performance of the phone's processor, leading to slowdowns and lags in various tasks.

The answer is D, which also leads to C in this scenario. Replacing the battery should resolve both issues.
