Selected Answer: D
A kickoff meeting is needed for the project to set clear objectives and goals for the project team. The purpose of a kickoff meeting is to bring all stakeholders together to introduce the project, provide an overview of the project plan, and establish expectations and roles for team members. This type of meeting is especially useful at the beginning of a project when people may not be clear about the project's objectives.

"we aren't sure what we are doing".... Management (In favor of a standup Meeting): That's okay we will have a super quick standup meeting to help you gain 5 minutes of knowledge in regards to the project. I have a lot going on and don't have time for this. Management (In favor of a Kickoff): I want to make sure everyone understands the project and give us time to go over all the details before we begin. Lets have a seat and talk about it. Really though, which one makes more sense? its D.
