If one of the requirements is " password is necessary to boot the computer," why isn't "UEFI passwords" not considered one of the correct answers???

Considering that "all workstations must be signed off at night, a password is necessary to boot the computer, and encryption must be enabled", shouldn't the three answers be "UEFI passwords", "Login time restrictions," and "BitLocker"?? Login time restrictions would ensure that no one could be signed into a workstation at night, UEFI passwords were designed to keep unauthorized people from being able to boot up a computer at all, and BitLocker encrypts data on harddrives. So how are the other three answers correct??? I really would like to see an explanation on this, please.

Also clearly, the question did not request password for login windows or screensave and screen lock, that means the user might only need the pw to boot the computer, and the login time restrictions will handle the users when they can use the pc and without pw to login windows

Booting to the computer doesn't mean just from UEFI password, it could also mean booting from screensaver activated turning the computer to sleep which require password. Having screensaver also answers the computer needed to be signed-off at night, and it's also a good thing because you have two kind of passwords password from sleeping the computer, and password on bios/uefi

Proffessor Messer Obj 2.7 Note: BIOS/UEFI passwords • Supervisor/Administrator password: Prevent BIOS changes • User password: Prevent booting Login time restrictions • Only login during working hours • Restrict after-hours activities Therefore, I agree with all of you saying CDG is the answer

Often there are two or more answers that could be correct and the trick is to go with how compTIA sees it. In this case, I personally believe A,B are just simply incorrect. If you google search anything worded like - "How can I limit my employees logon hours"... you will get a pretty clear answer that has to do with logon time restrictions. If you google search anything like "how to setup a boot password", you will see the clear answer deals with UEFI / BIOS. I know compTIA may have their way of thinking about some questions, but this Q/A is just a different story. I would absolutely answer CDG on the exam, but thats just me.

ADG or BDG I know from experience that BitLocker also requires password on bootup as long as you encrypt the drive that has the OS on it. So using both C and G would be redundant. BitLocker would fulfill two requirements so it would be better than a UEFI password.

die Richtlinie sagt in der Nacht müssen alle logoff, mit A und B geht nicht, weil der Benutzer einfach den Computer nutzen , mit beschränkte Zeit kann aber nicht

Agreed. And yes, I believe they do. I've heard it's the only way these sites are allowed to continue operating. Otherwise, CompTIA would shut them down.
