A new rack of servers has been installed in a datacenter. A server administrator needs to ensure fault tolerance and redundancy wherever possible. Which of the following would ensure the MOST uptime in the event of a sudden power loss? (Choose two.)
A.
Connect the rack PDUs to separate power circuits
B.
Connect servers with multiple power supplies to separate power sources
C.
Periodically test the UPS batteries to ensure they are fully charged
D.
Connect redundant power supplies to the same PDUs
E.
Connect all rack PDUs to the UPS battery
F.
Connect servers with multiple power supplies to the same higher-amp circuits
power loss has not happened, the MOST uptime in the event of a sudden power loss is required for a new install. C is not applicable in the scenario, def belongs to maintenance tasks rather than redundancy planning.
I think C is more like for maintenance.
I think we need UPS (option E) for sure but A and B also seem fair to me.
