Going with Star here. Yes, the N10-007 test is "old" and about to be retired, but it came out in 2018. We weren't using 10Base5 and 10Base2 in 2018, we were using ETHERNET. Bus is the simplest and the traditional topology, but it was based on coax cable. The question states ETHERNET. When using twisted pair cable or fiber optical cable, the topology is Star.
Show me the majority of the population that has device connected to device in a bus topology instead of having all the devices connect directly to the gateway.
It's 2021, the majority of LANs use start topologies.
Why bus .? Not star
Star
Star topology has become the dominant physical topology for LANs. The star was first popularized by ARCNET, and later adopted by Ethernet.

This is a strange question. From what I understand, most Ethernet LANs use either Bus or Star topologies. I thought Bus was more common so I went with that, but I doubt anyone could say that "Star is not a real physical topology for Ethernet LAN"
