During certain vulnerability scanning scenarios, it is possible for the target system to react in unexpected ways. This type of scenario is MOST commonly known as:
Race condition means the system is loping or circling around with out ded end so the given answer is Right
Intrusive scans attempt to exploit a vulnerability when it is found. This can highlight the likely risk and impact of a vulnerability, but may also disrupt your operational systems and processes, and cause issues for your employees and customers — so use intrusive scanning with caution.
The given answer is correct. An exploitation framework is a means of running intrusive scanning. An exploitation framework uses the vulnerabilities identified by a scanner and launches scripts or software to attempt to exploit selected vulnerabilities. This might involve considerable disruption to the target, including service failure, and risk data security.
this question is similar to #946 and the answer was torn between race condition and buffer overflow but i chose race condition. correct me if i'm wrong.
yeah that actually makes more sense. i didn't realize the distinction of it being a vulnerability scan and not an attack. an intrusive scan can cause a system to react in unexpected ways because it's exploiting vulnerabilities. thank you
