This should be C. During change validation, the project manager should also perform quality assurance to ensure that the change did not have a negative effect on project quality standards. If the change negatively affected the project’s deliverables or quality standards, the project manager implements the regression plan to return the project to its previous state

Selected Answer: C
By following the change validation process, the potential for an outage could have been detected before it occurred, allowing the necessary steps to be taken to mitigate the risk. While a regression plan, quality plan, and application version control are important to change control processes, they may not directly address the risk associated with undocumented changes. Regression plans help ensure that changes don't negatively impact existing functionality, quality plans ensure that changes meet predetermined quality standards, and application version control helps track changes to the application over time.

C. Mitigate or to reduce the likelihood of this event becoming a reality. That would mean to validate the change first for issues before implementing it into production environment.

Selected Answer: A
A looks like the best answer, since it caused an outage, you will need to roll back (undo) the change. This is where you follow your regression plan.

Answer is A. Any time of change causes a problem there should be a regression plan to revert the project back to a previous state.
