A project manager is planning to hold a meeting to discuss what went well, what did not go well, and what should be done differently. Which of the following meetings should the project manager hold?
Im thinking this should be C. Closure because this is where you discuss lessons learned, accomplishments, and project summary. Status isnt a communication method from what i see in my course guide.
The closure meeting, also known as a project post-mortem or retrospective, is held at the end of the project to review the project's overall performance and discuss lessons learned. The purpose of the closure meeting is to identify what worked well, what did not work well, and what could be done differently in future projects. This information can then be used to improve future project performance.
While these types of meetings are important, they are not specifically designed to review the project's overall performance and identify lessons learned.
Not C. D is correct. The PM can hold multiple meetings to discuss different phases throughout a project life cycle. These are SOP (standard operating procedure) questions and are always asked during a project. This doesn't automatically imply we're at the end of the project.
Nothing in the official CompTIA Student Guide suggests this criteria would be discussed during a Status Meeting. The only time these "lessons learned" meetings are referenced are during Closure Meetings. It would be extremely dirty of them to consider the right answer to be Status Meetings when referencing their own student guide.
