According to netstat -anp command, SSHD is running on port 222, not 22 netstat -- to display network statistics and information about active connections -a : (all) : shows both listening and non-listening sockets -n: (numerric): display addresses and port numbers in numerical form -p: (program): shows the PID and the name of the program to which each socket belongs.
