Going to take the first whack at this: Router A: Problem found: Yes Destination Prefix: 10.0.5.0 Destination Mask: 255.255.255.0 Interface: Gi1 Router B: Problem Found: Yes Destination Prefix: 10.0.1.0 Destination Mask: 255.255.255.0 Interface: Gi2 Router C: Problem Found: Yes Destination Prefix: 10.0.5.0 Destination Mask: 255.255.255.0 Interface: Gi2 However, I think Router C also needs an additional route for 10.0.1.0/24, no? Agree or disagree with any of the above?

Thats exactly what I thought. Router C is unaware of the route to the 10.0.1 network AND to the 10.0.5 network. But theres only space, it seems anyway, for 1 entry. Your solutiuon for Router A and B are 100% correct

Doesn't 10.0.0.0/22 gi1 on router c cover 10.0.1 and 10.0.4.0/22 gi2 cover 10.0.5 ?

Agreed. Router C would be "No problem found" because 10.0.0.0/22 (10.0.0.1 - 10.0.3.254) gi1 and 10.0.4.0/22 gi2 (10.0.4.1 - 10.0.7.254) already covers any necessary routes.

Router A No problem here because the default route (0.0.0.0/0) is linked to Gi3. Check the 1st route. Also, check route 4 "10.0.5.1/32". That is the same network as file server#2 AND /32 means its a single address. So we have to assume that 10.0.5.1 is the ip address of Switch A-2. Router b 10.0.1.0/24 int g2 (to Switch B) -- inbound The default route is linked to Gi1 so no route needs to be added for traffic from the workstation A to the file server#2. Router c 10.0.1.0/24 int G1 (Router B) --inbound 10.0.5.0/24 int G2 (Router A) --outbound This one would need 2 routes added. If only one route can be added per router, I would go with the bottom route. I take the test today so, If I see this question I will provide more info. Good luck y'all!

Well, I passed lol. I'll keep checking here if y'all have questions. I did not have this question on my exam. There were a couple of sim questions that are on here.

Router A: Problem found: Yes Destination Prefix: 10.0.5.0 Destination Mask: 255.255.255.0 Interface: Gi1 The table doesn't show a route to 10.0.5.0/24 and instead is only looking at 10.0.5.1 (the switch). Traffic cannot reach anything in 10.0.5.0/24 currently. Router B: Problem Found: Yes Destination Prefix: 10.0.1.0 Destination Mask: 255.255.255.0 Interface: Gi2 Table doesn't have a route to 10.0.1.0/24, so traffic (Workstation A specifically) cannot connect. Router C: Problem Found: No Routers A, B, and C are forwarding traffic to each other on the 172.16.X.X addresses.

I don't really get this question at all there to many weird things here. Router 1 C 10.0.4.0/22 GI2 | Uses GI1 IP addresses too should this be changed to 10.0.5.0/24 Router 2 c 10.0.0.0/22 gi3 | again uses Gi2 Ip addresses should thid be changed to 10.0.0.0/24 There no connection to Gi2 on the table for router 2 so its getting nothing3 No IP address assigned to the WAP either in the image. Why is the IP address 172.16.27.xx being used all over this routing table as I don't see this ip address in any of the images I'm missing to much information and am sitting here confused. Can someone please explain why . 172.16.27.xx is being used and why there sending all IP addresses to one line on both routers can't tell if thats "the" mistake or something thats supposed to be there.

172.16.X.X is a private IP range. Presumably Router A, B, and C are connected to the internet but not shown in the picture. 10.0.4.0 doesn't exist in the picture, but the WAP is connected to Switch B-1 (the problem switch) so I'm guessing they might have originally had the WAP connect to Switch A-1. Which makes sense because if the WAP is connected to A-1 > Router A via Gi2, and Router A > Router C via Gi2, you can see the 10.0.4.0 in Router C's table. That's all aside the point though - ultimately Workstation A can't talk to File Server 2 because Router 2 doesn't have a connection from Switch B-1
