A user contacts the help desk to request assistance with a program feature. The user is in a different building but on the same network as the help desk technician. Which of the following should the technician use to assist the user?
AAA is a server, not a way to help
SSH doesn't share screens
VPN is a secure connection which you wouldn't use because the question clearly says they are on the same network.
RDP is the only one that can be the answer.
When would you use RDP?
Remote desktop users can access their desktop, open and edit files, and use applications as if they were actually sitting at their desktop computer. Employees often use remote desktop software to access their work computers when they are traveling or working from home.
When would you use SSH?
SSH also allows for tunneling, or port forwarding, which is when data packets are able to cross networks that they would not otherwise be able to cross. SSH is often used for controlling servers remotely, for managing infrastructure, and for transferring files.
