Disposal just means getting rid of it, it doesn't imply it needs to be trashed. Resale is the most environmentally friendly option, electronics also are not made out of plastic.

Why are you re-selling it. The question states: ' to comply with regulatory requirements'.and "for the non-compliant cards" for me it looks like either A or C. If you can incinerate SSDs, then what is the problem with these cards?

Selected Answer: B
Has to be B. A - incineration clearly creates air pollution, which negatively impacts the environment. C - Physical destruction simply results in the ethernet cards joining a landfill - also not the most environmentally friendly, but sure at least it doesn't create air pollution. D - This options doesn't make much sense to me, what part of a NIC/ethernet card is made of plastic?

The only answer that is eco friendly is to put it back in circulation, like recycling, so you resell it to be used again. Instead of ending up in a landfill.
