D RAID 10 is a combination of RAID 1 and RAID 0, which provides both performance and redundancy. RAID 1 mirrors data across two or more disks, while RAID 0 stripes data across two or more disks. RAID 10 combines these two methods to create a mirrored stripe set, which can tolerate multiple disk failures as long as they are not in the same mirror. RAID 10 requires at least four disks and offers better performance than RAID 5, which uses parity to provide redundancy. References: https://www.comptia.org/blog/what-is-raid-0- 1-5-6-10

If you need solid performance but also need a level of redundancy, RAID 10 is the best way to go. Keep in mind that you will lose half your usable storage, so plan accordingly! Redundancy: If redundancy is most important to you, you will be safe choosing either a RAID 10 or a RAID 60.

Selected Answer: A
RAID 0 RAID 0: High Performance RAID 0 offers the fastest read/write speeds and maximum availability of raw storage capacity. Although RAID is typically associated with data redundancy, RAID 0 does not provide any. However, it does provide the best performance of any RAID level.

Hey man, I hope you're not the one have been answering all these questions wrong The question is asking for maximum performance AND REDUNDANCY. Not (OR) RAID 0: Does give a high performance but RAID 10 give both performance and redundancy. There is a reason why they use the number 10 on RAID 10 [RAID 10 = RAID 1+0] meaning that RAID 10 use the aspect of RAID 1 & RAID 0 RAID 0 gives you the performance RAID 1 give you the redundancy = RAID10

I agree with KSoLL that Raffaello is WRONG with his chosen Answer A.
